Welling resides in the London Borough of Bexley and the boundaries of Kent, only 1.5 miles west of Bexleyheath and a 10.5 mile venture away from Charing Cross.

Previously belonging to the historical county of Kent before the creation of Greater London, Welling is now a thriving suburban town in South East London with plentiful transport across the region and from London Victoria, to Charing Cross, to Dartford to Gravesend.

Welling is a robust area for both families and visitors, with proud local football clubs, trendy micropubs and the impressive nearby Danson Park, home to the historical Danson House, Danson Lake and the child friendly Splash Park. Possibly most famously though, Welling is known it's historically conserved Crimean War era Russian Canon, which now resides as a historical monument on Welling Corner as a lasting memory of Welling's early associaton with the Royal Arsenal.
